End-to-end electric vehicle charging experience - BP Pulse

Collaborating with procurement, engineering, global signage, and product teams, I spearheaded the redesign of the electric vehicle charging experience. This involved creating an integrated charging application that enables customers to seamlessly transition between home and public charging, along with standardising charging sequences and signage.

Sign in and registration redesign on the homepage and multiple mid-funnel placements led to an increase of logged in transactions by up to 60%. Logged in customers are worth double the long term value of a guest transactions.

The brand refresh was the perfect opportunity to overhaul the global navigation and its 89 regional variations. The new design needed to be flexible enough to grow with the business whilst clearing the clutter.

Alison is the sort of designer that product managers dream of working with as she takes complex requirements and customer journeys and distils them down into simple and effective solutions with the focus completely on the customer and their needs.

Our mantra was 'surprise and delight the customer', which isn't easy when looking at mortgages, and regulated fact find processes in particular, but Alison rose to the challenge spectacularly, and made it look easy.
